We had an incredible and memorable experience with Chef Gianluca for our “Night Before” our wedding celebration. He offered an extensive menu and catered it to several dietary restrictions and preferences. He was more than accommodating to our small group of 8. Providing vegetarian, vegan, seafood, and meat dishes. He sent the menu in advance and we reviewed and made changes until I was content. He offered to print menus and bring some table decor, but I had those covered already. The best part was the mega board he made for the appetizer. It was so delicious and bountiful. All courses of the meal met our expectations and beyond. He was fun to be around, had a great personality, and was very professional. Our guests all enjoyed chatting and watching as he prepped the meal. We could not recommend him enough! And hope to see him again for our next Italian adventure.
Gianluca absolutely saved our wedding day, when a previous chef cancelled on us only a few days before. Right when the booking was confirmed, he reached out via Whatsapp and we agreed on the detail of the meal over a short videocall, communication about any further detail was quick and easy. He did an amazing job, adapting to a pre-agreed menu, turning it around literally in a single day and using a small old kitchen within the villa to cook all the d food. The food was plentiful, delicious, using fresh ingredients and plated well. There was so much we had a whole second dinner out of the leftovers on the next day and it was an absolute highlight of our wedding day and the holiday. Really great guy and we couldn't be happier!
Chef GianLuca, Was wonderful!! We will use him again!! The food was outstanding!! He’s polite, very professional, and made our get together’s so very special!! He brought flowers, wine, table cloths, anything we needed! We used him for a small dinner of 7people and a large luncheon of about 25 people!! Our favorite was his Lasagna!! We also had amazing Salmon, Octopus ,Caprese, Beef, Homemade Breads, amazing homemade desserts!! And his very Special wine!!! His prices were very reasonable! We cannot wait to see him again!!!
Chef Gianluca was perfect for our family trip to Venice. He contacted me before the trip and we worked out the menu details for my family with food allergies. He was careful, attentive, and fun to work with both before his cooking for us and during. I ended up adding on another person, my eldest child ended up staying with us for Venice, and it was no problem for the chef. The entire experience was perfect and easy for me. The kids and I loved his food, and he even packed up the extras in little lunch containers so we could just grab them to take with us for our days exploring in Venice. Perfect and highly recommend!!
We hired Chef Gianluca Deidda to come to our apartment in Venice to cook dinner for four people to celebrate my wife's birthday. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with. He worked with us to pick the perfect menu, including a wine pairing, arrived on time and presented a wonderful meal.
We asked for traditional dishes made with local ingredients and he delivered on both accounts. He also left our kitchen cleaner than when he arrived. I would highly recommend him as a chef for any occasion.
Gianluca's food was amazing! He catered to a perfect family style meal that we requested. He made the process easy and was polite and cheerful. Most importantly his food was all so delicious! Von der ersten Kontaktaufnahme bis zum letzten Gang war wirklich alles perfekt organisiert und mit unglaublich viel Liebe zum Detail umgesetzt. Die Kommunikation war super angenehm, professionell und unkompliziert. Schon bei der Menüauswahl hat man gemerkt, wie viel Erfahrung und Leidenschaft dahintersteckt - die Auswahl war außergewöhnlich und die verwendeten Produkte extrem hochwertig. Der gesamte Abend war ein echtes Erlebnis: stilvolle Deko, passende Musik, personalisierte Menükarten, ein toller Aperitif und ein sensationelles Menü, das geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau war. Jeder einzelne Gang war perfekt abgestimmt und wunderschön angerichtet. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns, wie stimmig einfach alles von A bis Z war. Chef Gianluca was excellent. We came over from the United States for the Olympics. We wanted to have a private chef for our family of six and we were thrilled to get Gianluca! He was engaging, informative, and created us some great dishes! He came with his assistant Sonia who also was great. We had a meat and cheese plate as an appetizer. All locally sourced meats and cheeses! Our courses were as follows: saffron risotto, squid ink tortellini with swordfish, chicken Milanese, local beef with a black truffle sauce, and pistachio tiramisu. It was simply a wonderful evening. I would recommend Gianluca!
We had a fantastic time with Gianlucca. Pros: Gianlucca is a kind and friendly chef. He created a warm atmosphere while still maintaining his professional attitude. He is a wonderful person with an amazing background. He gave us a wide range of initial suggestions and the discussion about the menu was pleasant. He took our requests regarding food allergies seriously and was able to make adjustments. Gianlucca was able to work effectively in our airbnb kitchen, which was not very well equipped. The dishes were beautifully presented and, of course, absolutely delicious from start to finish. Cherry on top, his wine recommendations were spot on and allowed us to discover a local product. Chef Gianlucca was very personable. He was happy to share his culture. He was engaging and helpful when offering suggestions for food and restaurants in Venice. Chef Gianlucca was excellent in accommodating our toddler.

From setting up our rooftop terrace with cushions and carrying drinks and hors d'oeuvres up the many stairs to the AMAZING tagliata di manzo and BEST tiramisu we've ever had they were both amazing. Plus, they did it all in the tiny kitchen of our Venetian dwelling. I would highly recommend Chef Gianluca for anyone looking for an amazing and authentic Italian meal.

Gianluca was fantastic. An expert chef, he made delicious dishes that went down very well with the 7 year-old as well as the 51 year-old! Lovely manners and great communication.
Gianluca was amazing. A lot of attention to detail very responsive, and served an amazing meal and experience for me n my family. He was also so kind to make some food for my granddaughter (7 months old) Everything was perfect great service and wonderful food.
GianLuca was the chef for our week in Italy. We were 3 families with children aged between 7 and 15 years. GianLuca was very attentive to our requests through the week and was versatile with his dishes for our group with different ages and one vegetarian. All of the food was super delicious and we experienced a wide range of different dishes. Our final night dinner was excuisite and I would also recommend his pizza night! GianLuca was polite and very well natured. His calm and kind personality made it enjoyable to have him around the villa during our holidays. I would highly recommend GlanLuca as a holiday chef.
